May 2-4, 2023

Lexington, Kentucky
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is holding the annual 2023 Secretary's Office of Safety Conference in Lexington, KY, on May 2-4, 2023. The purpose of the meeting is to provide safety personnel with the opportunity to learn about pertinent information shared by great minds in the field and give them the ability to network with colleagues from across the state. The conference will provide statewide personnel with in-person opportunities to participate in teambuilding exercises, research, and training, as well as to "pay forward" knowledge and experiences in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all employees.
The mission of the Secretary's Office of Safety (SOS) is to eliminate employee injuries by creating and communicating a culture of safety through servant leadership that encourages everyone at KYTC to make safe choices. In support of this cabinet-wide mission, SOS staff invites all Chief District Engineers, Safety Administrators, Safety Coordinators, and Worker Compensation personnel to attend the 2023 Annual Safety and Training Conference: "Pay It Forward."
