General books and reports may be borrowed for four weeks, with renewal possible if no one else has requested the material. |

Videos may be borrowed for two weeks at a time. |
|
Requests for materials may be made by phone, fax, email or in person. |
The interactive CD-Rom is used for on-site, individual or small group self-paced training. The CD-I player and disks may be borrowed for two weeks. It is to be connected to a television, which you provide. The CD-I disks that may be borrowed include:

Most of the publications listed in the following table are in pdf format. To quickly navigate within these documents or any pdf document that has bookmarks created within the document, click on the "Bookmarks" side tab and then click on whichever topic or page you want to view. You can quickly move throughout the document without having to go page by page. Inspector's Job Guide for Highway and Street Construction |
Purchase a copy for $4.00 each. This guide covers the very basic duties of inspection by reference to key activities. Chapter headings include: Concrete Curb, Gutter, Walk, Driveway and Barrier; Paving; Culvert Pipe Installation; Storm Sewer Installation; Grading; Seeding, Finishing, Etc.; Structures; Geotextiles; Bituminous Surface Treatment; Wind Chill Equivalent Temperature; and information on using metrics. It includes Highway Maintenance Tables. (There is no on-line version) |
